Western NSW Local Health District and Dubbo Primary and Community Health Centre would like to advise the local community of changes to immunisation services available for children aged zero to five years old.
An immunisation clinic previously run from Dubbo City Council chambers on the third Wednesday of each month will now be a weekly event at the Child and Family Health Clinic at 29 Hawthorn Street.
The new immunisation clinic will commence on Monday 3rd of July 2017. Drop in from 3pm to 4:30pm every Monday for an immunisation only service. No appointments are necessary.
Immunisations for children aged zero to five years old are free for families. We kindly ask you to bring your child's personal health record 'blue' book to the clinic along with your Medicare card.
The drop in clinic that is currently held from 9am to 3pm each Monday at the Hawthorn Street clinic will continue as normal for weights, feeding issues and other general support for your child.
All other services provided by child and family health including child developmental checks will continue by appointment times which are available from Tuesday to Fridays. Our outreach clinics will continue as normal.
If you or your family have questions or concerns about child immunisation or any other issues relating to your child, please call the Dubbo Child and Family Health Nurses or Nurse Manager on (02) 6809 8600.
The child and family health clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, and closed public holidays.
