Baradine Multipurpose Health Service will be getting a fresh look with new vinyl flooring to replace carpeted areas.
Baradine Health Service Manager, Carole Daniels, said hospital staff are looking forward to the new flooring creating a brighter atmosphere for the hospital and for people accessing services.
"Work on the new flooring will start on Monday 27 November and continue throughout sections of the hospital for five to seven days," she said.
"We are aiming to minimise disruption to service delivery as much as possible during the process of removing the carpet and replacing it with the new floor covering.
"The Emergency Department will continue to function as usual, and any affected patients will be relocated within the hospital.
"If necessary, people from the community requiring admission may be relocated to other hospitals."
Clear signage will be visible to help people navigate the parts of the hospital under renovation.
