Women are invited to join a free art and health workshop in Brewarrina on Tuesday, 1 May.
All women aged between 25 and 74 are encouraged to join the Western NSW Local Health District's Women's Health team for a day of free activities.
Women will have the opportunity to have a chat about the new cervical screening test, which has recently replaced the two yearly Pap test.
Women will also be able to take advantage of a health check and screening with a trained Women's Health nurse on the day.
Women will have the opportunity to participate in a doll making workshop led by Aboriginal artist Lorrayne Riggs. Lorrayne is an experienced artist who has been working in partnership with Outback Arts on their Aboriginal Arts program.
Morning tea and lunch is provided on the day, so bookings are preferred. To RSVP please contact Helen (Mello) at Brewarrina Health Service on (02) 6830 5006 or Nakarri from Women's Health on (02) 6369 8184.
The event will be held on Tuesday, 1 May from 9:45am to 2:30pm at the Senior Citizens Rooms, Sandon Street in Brewarrina.
