When it comes to health, many women are great at caring for others but often put themselves last.
Jean Hailes, For Women’s Health, will be helping women put their own health first during the 2018 Women’s Health Week, 3-7 September.
The Western NSW Local Health District’s (LHD) Women’s Health Service is celebrating Women’s Health Week, by hosting a free evening event in Bourke on Thursday 6th September 2018, entitled ‘Bourke Women Putting themselves First’.
WNSWLHD Women’s Health Nurse CNC Joe Phillips, is inviting women to join her to take the time to make their own health a priority.
‘Bourke Women Putting Themselves First’ will be a fun and informative BBQ with Joe Phillips the visiting Women’s Health nurse, discussing services available for Bourke women. She will also provide information on the New Cervical Screening Test (replaces the Pap test) and provide an opportunity to attend or book into the monthly Women’s Health Clinic.
The event is free to attend and a sausage sizzle will be provided.
