Last year the Narromine Auxiliary spent more than $11,000 to purchase much needed items for the Narromine Hospital.
Acting Narromine Health Service Manager, Cathy Staples said, “Narromine has 20 hardworking Auxiliary members, who assist the hospital with the essentials to allow quality provision of care for the patients”.
The Auxiliary also participate in the delivery of Meal on Wheels and some of the members are also Pink Ladies.
Over the past 12 months, the Auxiliary have purchased a bariatric chair and scales, an electric lifter chair and an acuvein machine.
Narromine Rotary also helped the Auxiliary purchase a blanket warmer.
In April, the Narromine Auxiliary will be hosting a Trivia Night at the Bowling Club. The community are being encouraged to come along. All money raised will go into providing necessities to make the hospital the best it can be.
