Dunedoo Multipurpose Service (MPS) is committed to supporting the delivery of quality, innovative health service models to meet the needs of Dunedoo and the surrounding communities.
Dunedoo MPS works in partnership and consults with the Dunedoo Health Council to identify and address the health needs of the community within the capacity and scope of the health service.
Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) Community Engagement Manager, Illona Dunn, said “The role of the Health Council is to bring to the attention of the health service any service gaps and health concerns of the community, to support the health service to address service needs and inform the community".
“The Health Council is not a hospital board but a community committee of the Dunedoo MPS made up of people interested in the health of their community.
“The Health Council is an important link between the health service and community" said Ms Dunn.
Dunedoo MPS has access to medical support through a variety of means, both virtually, using the telehealth and video-technology, or through Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) at the MPS.
The health service and MPS does not have a role in providing privately-run General Practitioner (GPs) practices.
Dunedoo MPS welcomes your feedback and if you are interested in learning more about the role of the Health Council or the services available at the MPS please contact the Dunedoo MPS health service manager Fran Trisley on 6370 3000
