The Mudgee Hospital Auxiliary has recently approved a further 25 thousand dollars towards purchasing equipment for the Mudgee Health Service.
These items include a bladder scanner, a video camera to assist with physiotherapy recovery, an ice and cold water machine for Maternity Unit, and two vaccine refrigerators for Maternity and Dialysis.
“The recently approved purchases bring the contribution to the Health Service by the Auxiliary close to 42 thousand dollars this financial year.
The most recent fundraiser, the annual Mother’s Day raffle was a huge success raising almost 2 thousand dollars.
“We really appreciate the wonderful support received by the Mudgee community and the Auxiliary would like to formally acknowledge everyone who has contributed whether in the Mother’s Day raffle or in some other way this year,” said President Glenys Goodfellow.
“The members on the Auxiliary work very hard to raise the profile of the health service and are very dedicated to contributing as much as they can into ensuring the Mudgee and surrounding community have access to good health care,” said Ms Goodfellow.
Winners of the Mothers Day raffle were:
- David Reynolds
- Peter Harcourt
