Western NSW Local Health District will host a wide range of fun and innovative activities to help raise awareness during Mental Health Month, (October).
Western NSW Local Health District Director of Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Dr Russell Roberts said people can choose from a whole host of activities across the District to improve their wellbeing during October.”
“Everything from movie nights and information stalls, trivia nights and barbecues to Mental Health First Aid training and tree planting, to name but a few.
“The theme for this year’s Mental Health Month, ‘Celebrate, Connect, Grow’, is all about celebrating the positive aspects of our lives and the strengths that have helped us through difficult times, building our resilience”, said Dr Roberts.
“It’s also a great opportunity for us to expand our horizons and try something new that adds meaning to our lives; and the District Calendar has everything you could need,” added Dr Roberts.
