On Saturday 10th November 2012 the Coonamble Hospital debutante Ball was held at the Coonamble Bowling Club. There were five debutantes (pictured) presented to the Health Service Manager Libby Burnheim and the Nurse manager Jeanette Ryan. The debutantes presented the Residential Aged Care Unit with a cheque for $3,100 dollars.
“We wish to recognise the valuable contribution that this donation makes to the health service residents and their families” said Ms Libby Burnheim, Health Service Manager.
The ball was co-ordinated by Renee McKeown, Tammy Albert and Jo Day. The debutantes dance was taught by the skilled Stephanie Boroski and the MC for the evening was Mr Matthew Cock. The music was donated by Aaron Daley. The girls’ families all contributed to the success of the evening with assisting the coordinating team.
The Residential Aged Care is a part of the new Multi-Purpose Service Health facility. The Residential Aged care becomes home for Coonamble Residents who require extra care and support.
“Donations such as this don’t come along every day,” Ms Burnheim said, “and it will go directly to benefiting the residents.”
On behalf of the Coonamble MPS Ms Burnheim wanted to thank the debutantes their families, friends and organisation team for a great night.
