Western NSW Local Health District invites members of the public to attend a community information forum to discuss the option of a Multi Purpose Service (MPS) model of care for Molong Health Service.
Molong Health Service Manager, Susie Harrison said this is an exciting time for Molong. Multi-Purpose Services offer the option of flexibility across health and aged care services to enable tailoring of services to meet the specific needs of our community.
The Local Health District Strategic Health Services Plan aims to improve health outcomes and provide access to quality patient care through a co-ordinated approach. To address the health needs of our population it is important to have flexibility and innovation in health service delivery.
There are currently 21 Multi Purpose Health Services across the Local Health District, each offering a mix of services that cater for the needs of their local communities.
“We encourage everyone to come and be part of this discussion” said Ms Harrison.
The information forum will be held on Tuesday 21st January 2014 at 5.30 pm in the meeting room of Molong HealthOne.
