Free health checks are being offered by Wellington Health Service on Thursday 3 April.
Community and Allied Health staff will be conducting general screening tests for blood pressure, total cholesterol, blood glucose, body mass index and depression.
Smokers will be given the opportunity to have elective carbon monoxide monitoring and to receive advice about giving up smoking.
A variety of health professionals will be available on the day to discuss irregularities and provide advice regarding diet, exercise and other health issues.
The health checks will be at Larums Corner, which is on the corner of Warne St and Nanima Cres (former Subway outlet), Wellington between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
