The Coolah Multipurpose Service (MPS) is holding an Open Day on Saturday 6th August from 11am–2pm.
The Open Day will focus on updating the community on the redevelopment plans, which will be moving into the next phase in the second half of 2016. It will feature a virtual tour of the redevelopment with paint markings of the site, as well as demonstrations conducted by the Volunteer Rescue Association and local Fire Brigade.
Health Service Manager Ann Taylor and members of the local Health Council will also be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the redevelopment. Staff from the Rural and Remote Medical Services, local pharmacy, Community Health, and local NSW Ambulance will also be in attendance.
The Coolah MPS redevelopment will consolidate the 20 existing residential aged care beds in one location and refurbish existing inpatient areas. The project is part of a NSW-wide program of works to upgrade existing or build new MPS facilities in a number of rural and remote communities.
Date: Saturday, 6th August 2016
Place: 111-135 Martin Street
Who: Everyone is welcome to attend.
Tea and coffee will be provided free by the Hospital Auxiliary. Food will be available from the Lions Club.
