Warren MPS Recruit New Staff to Child and Family Health Services

Our valued staff member, Christine Letton is moving on from her position as Child and Family Health Nurse at Warren Multipurpose Service (MPS). As such, child and family health services at the facility will temporarily change while we recruit to this position.

Warren MPS would like to take this opportunity to thank Christine Letton for her dedicated service to the patients, mothers and babies in our local community over the past 18 years. Chris is now located at the Warren Family Health Centre working with chronic disease management.

Child and family health services will resume as soon as recruitment to this important position has been achieved. Both Warren MPS and the Western NSW Local Health District are striving to achieve this as quickly as possible.

The following changes have been made to assist the community while recruitment is being progressed:

Immunisation services in Warren:

  1. Commencing Thursday, 28 July from 2-3pm fortnightly ‘drop-in’ clinics will be held. Please advise administration when you arrive for the clinic.
  2. Immunisations are also available by appointment at the Warren Family Health Centre. Please contact (02) 6847 4326 for an appointment.

Child and Family Health Services outside of Warren:

Alternative child and family health services are also available by appointment at the following facilities:

  • Nyngan MPS on (02) 6835 1700
  • Gilgandra MPS on (02) 6880 5900
  • Dubbo Community Health Services on (02) 6841 2222

Maternity/Midwifery services:

Dubbo Hospital Maternity Unit can assist you with midwifery and pregnancy-related questions and care. Alternatively, you can call your local GP or obstetrician.
