Blayney Multipurpose Service has 9 inpatient beds (including 1 palliative care suite), 20 residential aged care beds, emergency department, ambulatory care, medical imaging and extensive outpatient services. Our emergency department is led by registered nurses who use the VRGS for support. We do not have an onsite doctor in emergency. The closest major facilities are Bathurst and Orange Health Services, which are a short 30 minute drive.

Blayney is a farming town and administrative centre located in the Central West region of New South Wales. Situated on the Mid-Western Highway approximately, 240 km west of Sydney, 35 km west of Bathurst and 863 metres above sea-level.
Blayney has many boutique shops, a library, swimming pool and a gym featuring indoor sporting areas and fitness classes. The town has a large supermarket and many pubs and cafes. There are great schools and several sporting activities to participate in, making it a fabulous place to live and work.
