Bourke Multipurpose Service (MPS) has 35 inpatient beds, operating theatres, emergency department, ambulatory care, residential ward, medical imaging and pathology departments. There is an extensive outpatient service including a dialysis unit, mental health and child and family services. Bourke MPS also provides outreach services for Louth, Wanaaring, and Engonia.

Bourke is a remote town in the north west of NSW, it is located on the banks of the Darling River and boasts a rich cultural and farming heritage.
Bourke has two supermarkets, one hotel, two high schools, two primary schools, including the Christian Academy School from Kinder to Year 12. There is an exhibition centre, art gallery, boutique shops, cafes, town library and two sporting fields for local activities.
