Peak Hill Multipurpose Service (MPS) provides inpatient and outpatient services to the community of Peak Hill and surrounds. It involves care provision through four acute ward beds, 1 Emergency bed – 24 hour operation and 10 residential Aged Care beds and a Child & Family Health Nurse.

Peak Hill Community Health Centre is located on site and provides services to Peak Hill and the surrounding villages of Alectown and Tomingley. The NSW Ambulance Service is also co-located within the campus of the Peak Hill MPS.

Peak Hill is an historic gold mining town, there are a number of facilities available including hotels, motels, supermarket, fuel station, post office, pharmacy and many unique shopping experiences. The Peak Hill district is also a renowned sheep producing area and is in close proximity to Dubbo. The friendly, peaceful township of Peak Hill is located close to the Hervey Ranges and attracts tourists to its Open Cut Gold Mine, Flora and Fauna Reserve Nature Walk and the Bogan Weir.
