Trundle is situated 55 km from Parkes, Central West NSW. Trundle Multi Purpose Service (MPS) is an 11 bed facility. It is comprised of 9 Residential Aged Care beds (Respite, low & high care), 2 acute beds and an Emergency Department open 24 hrs a day.
Trundle has a local GP Practice on site operating 3 days a week. The GP also has visiting rights to the hospital, outside of these hours we use the Remote Medical Consult or the Critical Care Advisory Service (CCAS), which offer 24 hr coverage.

The township is a rural community boasting wheat, sheep and cattle farming and has a great heritage which can be seen in the 60 metre wide main street where bullock drays of the past were maneuvered and turned. Trundle is also the home of the annual Abba Festival which draws a large number of tourists to the township every year. There are many facilities available in town from the local newsagent, post office, fuel station, service club, Food Works store, café and numerous schools including a preschool and high school.
