A move to Dubbo could make all the difference!
Dr Kate Crossley’s proudest achievement is establishing a stroke pathway which is improving the care of patients throughout Western NSW and for setting up the neurophysiology service which is the first public neurology service west of the Blue Mountains which now means EEG and nerve conduction studies are available for all patients – inpatients and outpatients. Living in Dubbo has also allowed Kate to work with the University of Sydney Medical School where she has regular teaching sessions with the medical students and also does some lectures which helps build a much closer bond with the junior colleagues, something you cant get in a city hospital.
