Donate life today
Have you considered organ and tissue donation?
Australia is a world leader for successful transplant outcomes. Learn why the majority of Australians are generally willing to become organ and tissue donors at
NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service
Access to organ donation and transplantation is vital in the provision of quality health care in NSW, especially when it can mean the difference between life and death.
One organ and tissue donor can transform the lives of 10 or more people.
NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service (OTDS) has a dedicated team of clinical specialists who work across more than 21 hospitals, including within the Western NSW Local Health District.
NSW works closely with the
Australian Organ and Tissue Authority to support the National Reform Agenda for Organ and Tissue Donation in NSW. This work aims to increase the capability and capacity within the health system to maximise donation rates, raise community awareness and stakeholder engagement across Australia to promote organ and tissue donation.
